I looked 'Oh so British' walking the French streets in this dress, but it isn't so twee as it looks on first sight with caged cut-out detailing on the side, the reason I liked it.
(Though, this dress isn't something I actually chose, it was a gift.)
This day was all about the french equivalent
of 'la dolce vita';'la douce vie'.
I spent the whole day relaxing, walking, appreciating the beautiful streets and testing cafe after cafe. Indulging in espresso, hot chocolate and bread spices milkshakes..Mmmm!
I admire how the French take their time and make everything so classy.
Sitting to have a coffee is made into a luxurious experience and they seem to show more appreciation to a small cup of espresso than we do to a glass of wine.
Sitting in the warmest air and sheltered by this huge orange parasol,
I watched the rain pour. Probably one of the most beautiful and romantic experiences I have had while drinking an espresso. I couldn't figure out if this was because of the view of the shower or the sound that accompanied it.
It was all so intense and relaxing at the same time.
