...Fashion makes what could be a mudane necessity of everyday life creative, exciting and interesting. Clothes are more to me than just clothes, they are a form of art. Our bodies are like canvas, and when we dress we make a picture in the world! Fashion and personal style for me are forms of self expression and escapism. How we dress is important whether we are choosing to dress to reveal or conceal parts of our personality. It is the way we wish the world to see us, so even if the intention is to dress for the latter it still give us hints to who people are. I love mixing high fashion with vintage. I don't just dress to look pretty and I'm quite experimental..I dress for myself and will wear anything as long as I like it even if others are not quite so sure. It's important that your happy!!

Copper Dust

Els carrers de Barcelona.....

One of my favourite things to do....To sit looking at beautiful
architecture and people go by while listening to a street artist or busker...

Not really traditionally spanish or catalan (but not to say it could not be a tradition of a Spaniard). I love observing the presence of and openess to different cultures and beliefs in other cultures. Some people forget that even though there are vast differences between cultures in language, beliefs, religions, cuisine and ways of living we are essentially all the same and equal. With no way of living being better but just different and it is these differences in people and their lives we should embrace for their disimilarites to ours and ourselves and learn what we can from them.

Make a wish.....

I love these 'lucky' buddhas..
Known as Budai in Chinese and Hotei in Japanese. The Buddha carries praying beads and a cloth bag with few belongings and is known to be poor but nonetheless always smiles. It is the symbol of gratitude, happiness and contentment. From this shop I bought a lovely pair or hamsa/fatima hand earrings which I will picture for another post...

I loved Barcelona...It is a mesmerising city..
...I loved the language, tapas, paella, sangria,
boqueria, horchata milk, the architecture,

Tibidabo mountain

and it's view..
