Today, I went to the Versace for H&M release. I had planned on going to London but when I found out it was going to be in Cardiff I changed my mind. They were not getting all of the collection in which was putting me off but with the amount of people that were going to be in London I probably would have been lucky to see some of those extra items anyway. I am happy with my choice and got loads of amazing items in the end. I did miss out on seeing a few items I would of loved to get but then I couldnt of really bought more than I already did anyways. ;)
I queued for a few hours outside but it was nothing the excitement, a Starbucks toffee nut latte and some lovely company could not handle.
I was in the second group of 6 who got to go in and it felt like forever watching and waiting to go in. You get just 10 minutes to shop which goes so quickly and it is frantic when you are in there. It's a bit of a shame really as it's like a speeded up version of Christmas with security guards rather than Elves and the moment is over before you even get to take it all in. Though, it's fair in a way as I guess it gives more people a chance to see it and spread the love.
I can not wait to wear some of the pieces and put some pictures on here too but, for now I'm still enjoying just looking at the packaging. I even love the coat hangers.......
I am so glad stores like H&M do designer collaborations and I am still loving my Lanvin dress from last years. This was not the dress I would of predicted me buying but when I saw it in store I loved it. It looked a lot better than it did on the internet which is usually the opposite with most garments and is lovely on. It was the last size 8 Lanvin dress in store and I remember many customers watching me with beady eyes walking around hoping I would put it down until I paid, but there was no chance! :)
