...Fashion makes what could be a mudane necessity of everyday life creative, exciting and interesting. Clothes are more to me than just clothes, they are a form of art. Our bodies are like canvas, and when we dress we make a picture in the world! Fashion and personal style for me are forms of self expression and escapism. How we dress is important whether we are choosing to dress to reveal or conceal parts of our personality. It is the way we wish the world to see us, so even if the intention is to dress for the latter it still give us hints to who people are. I love mixing high fashion with vintage. I don't just dress to look pretty and I'm quite experimental..I dress for myself and will wear anything as long as I like it even if others are not quite so sure. It's important that your happy!!

The 9th day of Christmas...

*Starry Skies and Moonlight*

Yesterday, when I returned home all the street lights had gone off in the street with most people being annoyed at the inconvenience. I just stood there absorbed by the clear view of the beautiful starry sky and the brightness of the moonlight.

I love midnight blue in clothes, especially when it comes with embelishment for the very reason it reminds me of a
star filled sky.

(Selection from Topshop and Buffalo Boutique Market)

I loved Giorgio  Armarni's ‘La Femme Bleue' SS11 show for the same reason (and more) and I know the images from that show will have lasting inspiration on me.

(pictures all from www.vogue.co.uk)
II can not wait to wear my Kate Moss sequin dress over Christmas..
I still love it seasons on...

I  love matte blue teamed with silver, gold white or black whereas I find midnight blue sequins is best with black or white, especially fur.
