...Fashion makes what could be a mudane necessity of everyday life creative, exciting and interesting. Clothes are more to me than just clothes, they are a form of art. Our bodies are like canvas, and when we dress we make a picture in the world! Fashion and personal style for me are forms of self expression and escapism. How we dress is important whether we are choosing to dress to reveal or conceal parts of our personality. It is the way we wish the world to see us, so even if the intention is to dress for the latter it still give us hints to who people are. I love mixing high fashion with vintage. I don't just dress to look pretty and I'm quite experimental..I dress for myself and will wear anything as long as I like it even if others are not quite so sure. The 15th day of Christmas/Dec

Jewels and Gems..

I am loving big gems and regal jewels right now!!

I loved everything about Dolce and Gabbanna's AW11-12 show and for me there wasn't another show that screamed christmas party more. Ok, there was Gucci which gave us glamour and allure with its sheer skirts, Miu Miu which gave us quirky refined elegance topped off with some glittery fun, Louis Vuitton who gave us sexy but with restraint, Prada's paillettes and lots and lots of faux fur everywhere. All suitable for sophisticated meals and christmas parties where with Dolce and Gabbanna you want wear
to a PARTY and PART-AAY!!

I liked everything in the show from the star prints, musical notes, sequins on dresses and pants, fun flats, animal prints, lace but the thing that caught my eye the most was the gold jewel encrusted pieces. Far superior to any sequinned piece. They remind me of royalty and look like they are made for a modern princess. The gold ones with stars all over was also one of my favourites.
